Who we are.
Stager was born in Rotterdam's vibrant cultural scene. A number of festivals and venues, fed up with high ticketing costs and limited control over their business processes, decided to create their own solution. An online tool to control ticketing costs, promote shows and run event planning better, designed by and for the cultural sector. This tool became Stager.
Stager's journey.
The Stager team embarked on an ambitious journey to build an all-in-one system for event organizers. Not easy, but nothing this game-changing is. Because of this, Stager's development would not have been possible without the daily support from avante-garde arts venue WORM and the work of developers from Lunatech.
From this start-up phase, Stager quickly grew into a key player in the European events scene. We now proudly work together with hundreds of venues, theaters, festivals and club and party organizers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
And we won't stop there. It's Stager's dream to see it's systems used worldwide.
Stager's philosophy

We believe the best work happens when everyone uses the same platform and works collaboratively. That’s why we build tools based on real user feedback—because organizers know what they need.
With Stager, you stay in control: set your own service fees and own your data. You can be independent, and like a meerkat on the lookout, Stager gives you a clear view of everything leading up to your event.
Stager offices
We have three offices, in Rotterdam, Berlin and Hasselt. Our head office is found in ZOHO, a new cultural quarter in Rotterdam. This is a place where a lot of progressive creatives and innovators work in arts and design, culture and media, tech, food, architecture and more.

Stager's team.
I am Mike van Gaasbeek, the spiritual father and CEO of Stager. I have been active in the cultural sector my whole life. First as a stagehand and a flyer distributor, later as a producer, talk show editor and marketer. Eventually I became business director at WORM. Next to my work as director I work on innovative projects on the cutting edge of art, technology, commerce and sustainability.
