This Privacy and Cookie Policy is effective as of May 30, 2025.
This policy outlines the practices of Stager B.V. with respect to users of the Stager application—our clients (event organizers) and their contacts (ticket buyers, newsletter subscribers, and other individuals whose data is processed by the organizer through our application)—as well as visitors to our websites.
Stager B.V. enables event organizers to collect and process personal data, such as your name, email address, gender, phone number, address, as well as additional information like your interests and ticket purchase history. The event organizer is the data owner for ticket buyers and other contacts they input into the Stager application. Stager enters into a Data Processing Agreement with each organizer, outlining how these personal data are protected and secured. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact the event organizer directly.
Organizers may use analytical and tracking cookies in the ticket shop. Analytical cookies help them understand website visitor behavior—for example, the number of visitors or most viewed pages. They also track how visitors navigate through the ticket purchasing process. Tracking cookies allow organizers to build user profiles. These profiles may be used to serve personalized advertisements. For further details, please refer to the privacy and cookie policy of the specific event organizer.
To have your personal data deleted, please contact the event organizer. Their contact information is typically available on their website, or you can reply to the ticket download email or newsletter you received via Stager. The organizer can then anonymize and delete your account. Organizers can also set a data retention period within the Stager application. Once this period expires, inactive accounts are automatically deleted. Organizers are required to include this retention period in their own privacy policies. If an organizer stops using Stager’s services, all personal data stored within their Stager environment will be automatically deleted 30 days after the organizer’s account is closed.
When you fill out a contact form on our website (https://stager.co), create an account, use our chat, subscribe to our newsletter, or contact our helpdesk, you provide personal data to Stager B.V. In addition to the data you actively provide, we also collect data about your activity on our website—such as your IP address, browser type, and device information. We use this data to resolve issues and to keep you informed about relevant products and/or services offered by Stager. We also analyze usage data to enhance our website, application, and overall service. All data is processed in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
Stager uses functional and analytical cookies. Functional cookies ensure our marketing website operates correctly. Analytical cookies track how users interact with our website. Marketing cookies help build visitor profiles so we can inform them about Stager's offerings. In the ticket shops, functional cookies ensure the ticket purchase process works smoothly. Additionally, analytical cookies are placed via Google Tag Manager in both the ticket shops and Stager Backstage (our event management platform for organizers). These cookies help us understand application usage and optimize our software. For example, we can track how many ticket buyers are active, which pages organizers use most, and whether buyers experience a streamlined purchasing process. The following cookies are placed by Stager in the ticket shop and/or Backstage. If you see additional cookies in your browser, they are placed by the organizer. Refer to the organizer's cookie policy for details.
We use Google Tag Manager, a Google service for managing scripts and tags on our website. Tag Manager itself does not collect personal data but facilitates data sharing with other tools, which may do so. We use it to share data with Google Analytics, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta for Business (Facebook/Instagram), Microsoft Clarity and Leadfeeder. These tools help us understand website usage, measure conversions, and serve targeted ads on platforms like Google, LinkedIn, and Meta.
If you wish to delete or anonymize personal data held by Stager, please contact us via the contact form on our website. Note: We cannot delete personal data owned by our customers (event organizers). Please contact the relevant organizer for such requests.
Stager applies a seven-year retention period for personal data we process directly. After this period, data from inactive contacts is automatically deleted.
Stager B.V. will never sell your personal data. We only share data with third parties when necessary for service delivery or when legally required.
